How It All Started...
Shades Hair and Spa was having a fundraiser for domestic violence in Oct 2015. The event had many vendors of very creative minds and ideas. Shari (the owner of Shades) thought it would be a great idea to have them all under one roof to sell their wares and ideas. It just so happened that same day of the benefit, the building next door was closing. The end of January 2016 Shari decided to purchase the building \”next door\” and thus became the Shadesville Hub Next Door!
Shadesville is an inside market type store for vendors, that make handcrafted, repurposed, unique, one-of-kind items, and we have a few antiques too!
What it has become...
Our next big adventure was a total rebrand in 2023 to what it is now The Hub and Corner Cafe. We still have available space for vendors to showcase their handcrafted, repurposed and unique items. We also have our Corner Cafe now with amazing homemade food and Jimmy Jaxxx Shine Shack – South!
